David Attali, the Hong Kong fixer lives in Hong Kong and travels around China since 1995, some thirteen years ago. With a degree in Maketing from Strasbourg University and a diploma in Chinese from Beijing Language and Culture University, he feels equally at home in a Hong Kong Cha Cha Teng and in a London Fish and Chips stall. For ten years, he has been an export manager (in a very wide range of industries) and has been focusing for several years on his passions: creating bridges between China and the West with audiovisual creations.
He speaks fluent French, English, Cantonese, Mandarin and offers the unique perspective of a “中國通“ “Zhong Guo Tong” , a title given by his Chinese friends and partners meaning the “Foreigner through whom passes the spirit of China”.

In the field of Cinema and audio visual productions, David,
- has fixed ( as a line producer and assistand director) the production of TV series “Do not disturb” , written and directed by Lawrence Gray of Idol productions
-has fixed the coordination and the interpretation within Michel Barthelemy’s art direction team for the Hong Kong produced scenes of the coming Jérome Salle’s blockbuster Largo Winch;
- had fixed the production of the radio reportage “Made in Hong Kong” ( covering Louis Vuitton’s Hongkong soundwalk) by Anne Pastor which will be aired on France Inter on 27 july 2008;
- Has fixed the Sound Postcard “Phitsalunok/Hi Ya Ho” produced in collaboration with Erwan Braem of TV5 and available on Arte Radio’s website .
David’s own productions are gaining momentum. Under the umbrella of his production company, Elektrik Shadows co, the following projects are completed:
Fire Dragon : a videopoetry on the extraordinary festival featuring an amazing Dragon dressed in smoke and fire.
Fire Dragon redux: a short version of the Fire Dragon, presented at the IFVA ( International Film and Video Awards)
